Art is Freedom

An art exhibition by survivors of modern slavery

Art is Freedom is Hestia’s annual art and photography exhibition, featuring work created by survivors of modern slavery.

Survivors supported by Hestia's Modern Slavery Response Service take part in art and photography workshops every summer, learning and refining their skills, before submitting their best pieces for the exhibition.

The exhibition takes place during the week of Anti-Slavery Day, 18 October, every year, raising awareness of the modern slavery happening in all of our communities, and the roles we all play in ending it.

This year Art is Freedom is taking centre stage at Trafalgar Square, Waterloo train station, South Kensington underground station (Thurloe Street), London Bridge train station and Paddington train station.

Plan your visit to our FREE #ArtIsFreedom exhibition celebrating the talents of survivors of modern slavery from 14 - 20 October 2023
