Waltham Forest Beacon In partnership with North East London NHS Foundation Trust, the Waltham Forest Beacon is a free mental health support service for individuals aged 18 and over, available in the evenings and weekend. It is a welcoming, calm, and inclusive space where people living in Waltham Forest can drop in, feel supported, and take a moment for themselves, no appointment needed. How to access the service Drop-ins are welcome, or referral by a professional. Support will include: A non judgemental, safe space to talk about how you’re feeling. Information, referrals, and signposting to helpful services. Drop in sessions for those moments when you really need to talk. Planned one to one support, via telephone or in-person. Help to create a recovery plan for your future wellbeing. Emotional support from trained peer workers with lived experience. Telephone interpreter support available for those who may struggle to communicate in English.
