So many people are affected daily, but shame stops the conversation. Let's help to lift the shame by making it safe to talk about abuse - it's NEVER your fault and you are not alone.
I am passionate about protecting vulnerable people, which is demonstrated both in my career and personal life. I want to play my part in saying no more to domestic abuse.
Domestic Abuse is never OK.Nobody should have to live in fear. I'm running to support Hestia in giving aid to victims of domestic abuse in their flee for freedom.

The Mishcon Reputation team is incredibly moved by the impact of Covid-19 on the women and families supported by Hestia through its domestic abuse and emergency accommodation services. Calls to Hestia's refuge referral line have increased by 200% since the outset of the pandemic, and are expected to increase further as the restrictions on our movements continue. Not only are call numbers rocketing, but the cases being dealt with are more complex and require specialist support.
HSBC has been proud to work with Hestia over a number of years and as a team we have spent some time learning about what Hestia does and how we can help. We want to raise as much as possible for a great charity.
Fundraising in support of mental health and wellbeing. Helping to support communities through a prolonged crisis
Recent times has made many of us stop and pay more attention to life within our own four walls and to the lives of people around us. For some, this lockdown period has created closer connection with family and for others it has only exaggerated what for them is a challenging home environment. We want to support women and children who face difficulties and help Hestia give them hope.
During the Covid-19 crisis I have been increasingly concerned about the welfare of children in lockdown. With no access to school for many, and with vulnerable children sometimes becoming seemingly invisible, now is the time to help and support as much as we can.
