Play is a vital tool in helping children heal from the trauma of domestic abuse. Your donation will provide opportunities for approx. 200 children in our refuges this summer to participate in fun activities to help build confidence, self-esteem and re-engage with normal childhood activities.

Why are we fundraising?

Domestic Abuse can cause significant harm to children's physical and neurological development, as well as their school life. With the right support, children can recover from their experiences of even the most severe abuse.

Summer Play Scheme

This summer, we want the families to be able to enjoy activities that give them space to heal. Your support will provide a programme of activities during the 6-week school summer holidays. From cake decorating classes, to trips to the seaside, these invaluable memories are a key part of the children and their mum's recovery in our refuges.
