When we started to think about raising awareness of domestic abuse and supporting our people, we knew that we needed specialist help. Hestia was an obvious partner as they are renowned in this space and have a dedicated team, Everyone's Business, who offer advice and training.

Over the last two years, they have been a brilliant partner, guiding us every step of the way as we developed a robust Domestic Abuse policy, brought in training for colleagues and set-up a support service.

It's had a positive impact on our business. From the start we had amazing buy-in from our senior team and the training and webinars helped us raise awareness across our organisation.

Our HR team feels much more confident when it comes to supporting people and knowing the right questions to ask and how to help. We've also had colleagues sharing their own stories and experiences.

That's the impact of this work - people are open to talking about domestic abuse and I'm so proud we are making it easier  for people to do that.

One thing we have learned is that when it comes to domestic abuse, things are constantly evolving in this space, so you need a knowledgeable partner. We are very aware that we are not the specialists but by collaborating with Hestia we feel confident that we are getting it right.
