An IDVA stands for ‘Independent Domestic Violence Advisors’. They are trained specialists who have extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system, the civil court system and local services. They can provide counselling and support.

This service offers support to both men and women (16+) who are currently experiencing Domestic Abuse. Support is tailored to individual needs and is focused on reducing the risk and minimising the harm of the trauma of Domestic Abuse.
