The service supports women in the borough who are currently experiencing/have experienced domestic abuse with practical help and advice to enable them to live safely in the community. Working with women in their own homes, the Floating Support team assess service user needs and work with them to create a support plan and connecting service users with both physical and mental health services.

The team also support the service user with claiming benefits and budgeting; getting appropriate legal support and advice/ information; immigration issues; interpreters and translators. Access is also provided to educational and training courses, volunteering opportunities and workshops.
