Your generous donation will allow us to be there for more children like Harry. He was 8 when he and his mum, Sarah moved into a domestic abuse refuge to escape his violent father.

He was scared and wanted to go back to his old bedroom and play with his toys. His mum thought about returning but she knew Harry was safer in the refuge.

After a few weeks, Harry was talking more with his Children & Family worker, Alexa. A dedicated role to help families work through their trauma of domestic abuse. Alexa would let Harry play games and talk about how he was feeling. She helped him get into a new school and supports him with his school work. Harry's favourite subject is art so they often paint in the playroom.

Seeing Harry finally smile again, Sarah knew she had made the right decision in seeking help. She no longer felt anxious or scared.

Your donation can allow us to have more Children & Family workers in our domestic abuse refuges to support children like Harry.
