Strategic – alignment with funding our projects Expand In 2022 we know that social responsibility is at the forefront of companies and customers minds. Hestia’s wealth of experience and areas of expertise make it easy for your company to both engage staff and meet your corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals. When companies and charities work together, we see lasting and innovative change. At Hestia we bring our frontline expertise and dedicated partnership team and work with you to create a bespoke partnership that benefits our service users and your teams, enabling a mutually beneficial partnership. Other ways you can benefit from our expertise: Hestia is the largest provider of support for victims of modern slavery in London and the southeast. Our frontline team can provide training for your key stakeholders to address risk of modern slavery in support chains and how to spot the signs within your communities. Our accredited Everyone’s Business team will work with your HR and senior management teams to create or improve internal policies around domestic abuse. Every year British companies lose £1.9billiob to staff missing work due to abuse at home. Having supportive policies in place supports you to become a supportive and healthy workspace for potential victims. Mental health first aiders: work with our expert teams to establish your own mental health first aiders. Join our national campaign to tackle domestic abuse and sexual violence – UK SAYS NO MORE Expand Hestia campaigns and advocates nationally for change by hosting the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign. Our dedicated team are on hand to engage your team on national awareness days and support your business to be at the forefront of tackling abuse. How you can get involved: The Everyone’s Business Programme works with employers to support them in their delivery of an employee response to domestic abuse. For companies contracted into Everyone’s Business, a programme of direct consultancy, support and training for HR members, senior staff and key stakeholders, accreditation and access to our advice line is offered. Do you have high street facing spaces? Speak to our team about hosting our physical Safe Spaces Initiative. Our Online Safe Spaces developed together with Royal Mail Group, also allows corporates with consumer-facing websites to host an online portal that gives vital domestic abuse resources and information without leaving a trace on internet history. We have also created innovative approaches to expand support for victims from developing the Bright Sky domestic abuse app with Vodafone and most recently launching Safe Spaces in over 7,000 pharmacies and high street banks across the UK to help victims escape domestic abuse during COVID-19 lockdowns and beyond. Read more about this programme here For more information on how we work together with partners like Boots on these domestic abuse prevention initiatives, please hear from Marc Donovan, Chief Pharmacist at Boots: https://youtu.be/FTn3hzFM7ZQ

Psychologically Informed Physical Environments (PIPE) Expand Across Hestia we are looking to expand our Psychologically Informed Physical Environments (PIPE) within our accommodation-based services. This approach centres the needs and choices of the service users, believing that their contribution to creating a conducive environment also supports their recovery. This process is co-ordinated by the Hestia team and external partners and ensures that our PIPE spaces are designed and equipped for physical and emotional safety, carefully considering the needs of different groups. We welcome corporate partners to support Hestia to redesign our spaces to PIPE standards, enabling our service users to create a harmonious environment for themselves and for future people in crisis. Gifts in Kind Expand From donating products or services to the people we support to offering spare room space in your offices or events, we can help you make the most of your in-kind support. Please do contact us for a list of the items we most need across our services as these can vary at different times of the year. From seasonal gifts, refuge arrival or move-on items to prizes for games and toys. These gifts in kind can really help provide essential items and brighten up a day. We will also need support with delivery and transportation.
Cause Related Marketing Expand Cause related marketing gives your customers the opportunity to purchase a product whilst supporting our charity. A proportion of each sale or agreed set amount is donated to Hestia for a particular product or a service. In some cases, the company may agree to donate a proportion of the selling price to charity, or the customer can also be asked to ‘round-up’ their purchase for a charitable donation or add an optional donation to charity. You may have seen this happen in a restaurant bill, when paying for petrol or even a taxi, flight or theatre tickets. In addition to raising vital funds for charity, this can also be a great way to raise awareness for a cause and your own brand too.
