Latest News Hestia recieves 'Good Overall' rating in latest CQC rating Hestia Registered Care Home receives “good” rating in latest CQC Inspection We are very pleased to have received a ‘good overall’ score and “good’ for each individual key line of inquiry in our recent inspection at our Lynton Terrace Registered Care Home. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Hestia currently run three registered care homes where we provide accommodation and support for people with a range of mental health needs. Due to their status as Registered Care Homes, these services are inspected by the CQC every two years. The CQC make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and they encourage care services to improve. Delivery of the service at Lynton Terrace is done with our service users where we ensure that their values are deeply rooted into how we work together. The Hestia Approach with its culture of care and co-production is implemented across all Hestia services where we respect the rights and uniquely diverse needs of all of our service users. The co-productive element was highlighted strongly in this latest inspection with many service users saying how happy they are to be so involved in the design and delivery of their service. This is especially important as our Lynton Terrace care home provides support for those with enduring mental health needs where many of the service users have called Lynton Terrace their home for many years. “Lynton Terrace is one of Hestia’s longest standing services and we are very happy to receive such a pleasing CQC rating. Through the Hestia Approach we encourage our service users to be involved in every aspect of designing and delivering our services. This positive feedback will allow us to confidently continue our work with more people in the future when they most need our support.” – Patrick Ryan, Hestia CEO Click here for more information about our Registered Care Homes and the support we provide for people living with mental health conditions.
