Living in a domestic abuse refuge as a child often means having to share you bedroom with your mum and brothers and sisters. For the 400+ children supported by Hestia last year, outdoor play space not only gave them a space to play but played a vital role in their recovery!

This spring, a team of green fingered Mishconites are fundraising to transform a refuge garden into a healing and FUN space for mums and children in Hestia's East London refuge. The team will be volunteering their time in April and swapping their keyboards and books for spades and soil to improve the outdoor space for these children.

As part of their fundraising efforts, Mishconites - paralegals, associates, managing associates and partners alike- will be putting on their best lycra outfits and breaking a sweat during an office-based, bike-ride competition using spin bikes that BoomCycle have generously loaned them. They are looking to raise £5,000, every penny of which will go towards the gardening project.

Your donation could be the difference between a few bulbs to a brand new climbing frame, a spade and a summer play house! Please give generously and help us transform a garden and the lives of children recovering from domestic abuse.
