Chantal Posse We are looking forward to raising some money to help Hestia, a great charity who provide high quality support for adults and children in crisis across London. In Kingston Hestia works with RBK (Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Council) to support residents who are struggling with their mental health and as part of the service provide an amazing project called ‘The Good Energy Club’ a community engagement public health project designed to engage people living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, who live with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or low levels of mental well-being, in physical and social activities. The aim is to increase physical fitness, improve mental wellbeing and decrease social isolation.

Lockdown has been particularly hard for the clients of Good Energy Club who have been forced to provided support mostly via Zoom, daily phone calls and face to face welfare checks.

We hope to raise awareness and support for them to be able to continue to provide their services to the many people who need it. We will be cycling a total of 54 miles, from Kingston Upon Thames, to Brighton seafront on Friday 21st August. We will share videos and photos of our journey. Chantal Posse
