From Sunday 7th - Saturday 13th March, the UK celebrates NO MORE WEEK.

UK SAYS NO MORE is a campaign delivered by Hestia to raise awareness and end domestic abuse and sexual violence across the UK. The week deliberately coincides with International Women's Day this year on Monday 8th March and we need your help!

In honour of the week, get ready to fundraise through a virtual fun run! Whether you love a carefree jog in your local green space, or a powerful sprint on the treadmill, this one's for you. Lace up your trainers and get active to eliminate domestic abuse. You have the whole week to complete your run on the route, day and time that works best for you.

Set up a fundraising page here so we can see your progress!

You can either:

  • Run 5k to raise a minimum of £50
  • Run 10k and raise a minimum of £100

Your safety is important to us, and we all have a role in slowing the spread of COVID-19. If you are participating outside, please be sure to keep your distance, wear a mask, and only walk or run on your own or with members of your household. Please follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines required by the government: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

During the pandemic, home has not been a safe place for everyone. Our latest report ‘Domestic Abuse in Lockdown’ showed an alarming increase in the number of calls to Hestia’s Refuge Referral Line, an almost 50 per cent increase in users of our Bright Sky support app and a near 40 per cent jump in the number of people trying to access our domestic abuse services.

All funds raised will go towards protecting woman and children who are affected by domestic abuse.
