Co-production

Coproduction is when health and social care service users, decision makers and service providers share power to plan and deliver support together. Co-production is important because:

• Service users have lived experience and insights, talents and strengths which enrich our services
• Service users can share their experiences and are listened to, and can therefore help us design and deliver services which are centred on what people really need
• Being involved in Co-production activities empowers people to take control of their recovery journey
• It gives people new skills and confidence through various personal and learning development opportunities
