Hestia's Grenfell Response

In response to the tragedy in RBKC, Hestia’s Grenfell Response has expanded its mental health services in the borough to support members of the community who have been affected.

Hestia now provides around-the-clock support consisting of our Recovery Cafe, hotel counsellors and our overnight Listening Team. For information see below:

Hestia’s K&C Recovery Cafe

The cafe offers a safe, welcoming space for people who are struggling to cope with their mental well-being and/or trauma during the evening and weekends when other services may be closed. There is no need for an appointment, just turn up and you’ll be met by a listening ear, food, peer activities and therapeutic group and 121 support.

Monday – Friday 6:00pm – 11:00pm

Weekends: 12 noon – 11:00pm

The Recovery Cafe is open to anybody in need of mental health support. You can just turn up. Alternatively, we also provide outreach support. Call us and a member of our team can arrange a visit to you.

The Listening Team: Overnight support

Do you find night times difficult? If you need someone to talk to, why not drop in and have a hot drink and a chat with our Listening Team.  The service is informal and confidential with support to access other services if needed.

Hotel Counsellors

We currently provide night-time support for families displaced by the fire and currently living in hotel accommodation. If you are looking for support please call: 020 8964 0033
